We have put these sessions together as a way of helping homeschool families spend quality time with other likeminded people, build relationships, new skills and gain experiences that would otherwise not be met through traditional education routes through time spent enjoying the outdoors in a fun and inspiring environment.

The sessions are for school aged children, however they are designed for the whole family to get involved and we expect for parents and older teens to join in and share their knowledge and experience. For younger siblings there's the opportunity to simply play and enjoy being free to explore under their own steam. Children will be encouraged to find a project which inspires them (this doesnt need to happen straight away), with the emphasis on finding practical ways of learning in ways that best fits each individual child.

Much of our practice is being built on the Love and Logic © principles as well as the examples set by schools such as Agora in the Netherlands Astra Nova in the US and educators such as John Taylor Gatto and Tim Fletcher.

At the end of the day we are all learners and the idea of these sessions is that we will all learn and grow together. We would love you to join us.
