The secret to reacting well in an emergency situation is good training, this is even more crucial when operating in remote areas. For this reason we have worked hard to develop a course which combines current best practice from highly experienced frontline NHS staff with training from experienced outdoor professionals with many years experience of working with groups in remote environments. The course offers a wide range of practical experience including realistic scenarios to help build your confidence and provide an interactive and exciting learning environment.

The course has been designed with forest school leaders in mind, however it is also suitable for parents, teachers or anyone caring for children or young people. Valid for three years this course has been designed to equip participants to be able to respond with confidence to emergency situations in remote and rural areas.
